My journey began in 1995 when I worked as a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor at Glendale Adventist Hospital. It was there I started a lifelong passion for working with those struggling with addictions and their families. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Then, I earned my Master’s Degree in Psychology from Antioch University with an emphasis on trauma. Next, I received my clinical training at Counseling West. In this non-profit counseling center, I provided individual, couples, and family therapy to clients presenting with a wide range of clinical issues, such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, and trauma. Currently, I’ve been with LBC Wellness for almost two years, specializing in couples, family therapy, and anxiety.
 
Outside of work, I have two grown children and a dog that keeps me on my toes! I enjoy the theatre, yoga, and live music. Being a native Angelino, you might occasionally find me hiking or at a Dodger game. Go blue!
